Workshop kit · sample data

Do we have enough for next week?

Build an AI assistant that checks next week's appointments against your shelf and drafts the supply order. Works in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot. One copy, one paste, nothing to download.

1 Start here: your practice

We'll scale a sample week of visits, procedures and shelf stock to your size. Nothing you type leaves this page.

    Copy your quick start

Open a new chat in your AI tool, paste this as one message, and send it. It has your instructions, your three tables, and the first question.

It's one long message, and that's normal. If it looks cut off in the chat box, send it anyway; the whole thing is there.

  2. 3

    Say yes to the dashboard

After the order list, it asks if you want a dashboard. Reply yes.

    Dashboard prompt · Claude
Turn this into a one-page dashboard as an artifact: the number of items to order and the order total at the top, the order list as a table, and a bar chart of next week's procedures by provider.

Change the safety stock or the chart by just asking. Dashboards look a little different every time.

  3. +

Bonus: let the AI write the recipe

    Bonus prompt
Set aside the supply recipe I pasted. For each visit type and CDT code in next week's schedule, list the consumable supplies it typically uses: room setup once per visit, materials once per procedure. Mark every quantity as an estimate, then tell me where your list differs from the recipe I pasted.

Optional: make it reusable

Want this planner to stick around after the workshop? Put the instructions in a project so every new chat already knows the job. Then you only paste the data.

Show me how

2. Use it

Start a new chat inside your project and send this. It's the three tables and the question, without the instructions.

Next week, paste next week's real numbers in the same shape and ask again.

All data here is made up for teaching: a sample pediatric practice of 3 doctors and 5 hygienists, scaled to your answers, with the shelf scaled item by item to match. Supply quantities and shelf counts are estimates; prices are sample public list prices from Nov 2026. Never put patient names or chart details into a chat.
